the festival 2014
This years Festival is celebration of 6 years of Capoeira Agora and the friendship, companionship and camaraderie which we experience in our journeys through Capoeira.

On Saturday, 14th June, 12:30-15:30, within the atmosphere of the World Cup, join us for this family event, an afternoon full of energy, live music and joy.
'Tickets in advance' (£5) will be sold till midnight on 13th June (online or in person). After that you will be able to purchase the tickets at £7 on the door only, from midday on 14th June, subject to availability.

Our festival is not just about showing you what we are all about. We also want to give you a present. At the moment we can't give presents to all of you, so we will give them away in a raffle.

When you come to the theatre on Saturday 14th June, you will have a chance to win a variety of attractive prizes.
When you buy the Batizado's (Grading ceremony) ticket at a normal price in advance (£5) or on the door (£7), you will be given one raffle ticket for free. And you can buy as many additional raffle tickets as you want, each at just £5.
You can buy your additional raffle tickets in advance via our online shop now, or in person by coming to meet us at one of our classes' venues. You can also buy your raffle tickets on the day in the theatre. We'll be selling them throughout the performance.
In order to enter the draw, you will have to be present at the theatre on Saturday 14th.

workshops with Grão Mestre Sombra
Monday 9th - Friday 13th June & Sunday 15th June
We have a pleasure to welcome my Capoeira Master, the Grão Mestre Sombra de Associação de Capoeira Senzala de Santos, Brazil, who will run a week of workshops.
The Festival's workshops with Mestre Sombra are open to all with Capoeira basics. Subject to availability. Book in advance via our online shop.
