beginners’ courses: wednesdays

 

Capoeira Agora beginners classes are held on:
– Mondays 20:00-21:30 at the Fitness First centre, 179a Tottenham Court Road, London W1T 7PA;
– Tuesdays 18:15–19:45 at the the Drill Hall, 16 Chenies St, London WC1E 7EX;
– Wednesdays 19:30–21:00 at the the Bankside Health Club, Unit 11a, Blue Fin Building, 110 Southwark Street, SE1 0SU
– Thursdays 20:00–21:30 at the Bankside Health Club, Unit 11a, Blue Fin Building, 110 Southwark Street, SE1 0SU; and
– Saturdays 16:00–17:00 at John Marshall Hall, Christ Church, 27 Blackfriars Rd, London, SE1 8NY.

The above classes are also open to those who have already done the beginners' courses.

• Capoeira Agora beginners’ classes run on a course system basis only.
  Single classes & flexible passes are available to our members. Visitors from other schools are welcome to join a single class at £12/conc. £10.
• Beginners, who would like to try Capoeira, and those, who have done Capoeira before and would like to join in and/or try our style first, are welcome to participate in up to two courses in a year before joining as a member.
• Free trial classes are available on our Capoeira in the park days. See our projects page for details.
• You are also welcome to watch our beginners’ 6.15pm classes on Tuesday at the Drill Hall or Thursday at the Colombo Centre before enrolling on our Capoeira course.

how to start

To start learning Capoeira with us, simply book our beginners’ course and come on the day. You will just need long loose trousers (no shorts please) and a t-shirt; Capoeira/martial arts shoes are optional (no trainers).
